Hymns Triumphant by Various

$15.99

Featuring the London Philharmonic Choir, The Amen Choir, and London's National Philharmonic Orchestra, Hymns Triumphant: The Complete Collection brings together Hymns Triumphant I and Hymns Triumphant II into one glorious hymn sing.

Featuring the London Philharmonic Choir and London's National Philharmonic Orchestra, Hymns Triumphant I (Disc 1) is a symphonic choral suite. Arranged by Lee Holdridge, "Hymns Triumphant I is that kind of celebration, carried to a grand symphonic level, yet never tampering with the traditional melodies and harmonies of the hymns it encompasses. A full orchestra and a trained 100-voice choir perform them here in unifying medleys, relating each to a thought perfectly expressed in "The Lord's Prayer". This work reflects its fullest glory when used as a setting for a participatory hymn sing-a-long," says Executive Producer Billy Ray Hearn.

Featuring The Amen Choir and London's National Philharmonic Orchestra, Hymns Triumphant II (Disc 2) celebrates the Triumph of the Christian Life. Arranged by Lee Holdridge, "each medley of hymns came to express a particular triumph - The Triumph of the Christian Life. This specific theme has even triumphed over time itself. One of the hymns here survives from the 8th century. While many of these selections are 18th and 19th century American hymns, it is my hope Hymns Triumphant II will triumph over distance as well - serving as a setting for sing-a-long participation," says Executive Producer Billy Ray Hearn.

Hymns Triumphant: The Complete Collection will delight hymns fans of all ages.
