Following high school she enrolled in journalism and then branched into advertising. After raising three children, she began submitting her work, publishing short stories and articles and winning numerous contests. She has written and recorded her own songs, leads worship from the piano, and also plays outside the church for many other functions. Leanne lives with her husband John in Calgary, Alberta.
