About Brendan Byrne

Brendan Byrne, SJ, FAHA (DPhil, Oxford University), is professor emeritus at the University of Divinity in Melbourne, Australia. He taught New Testament for over three decades at Jesuit Theological College. A former member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission, he has published works on Paul, all four Gospels, and a major commentary on Romans.
