Harry and Cheryl Salem are the founders of Salem Family Ministries and public speakers who share God's love and power with the hurting and lost. Their own lives are testimonies to God's faithfulness and ability to work all things together for good.
Harry grew up quickly after losing his father at a young age. His faith and determination opened the door for him to become Vice President of Operations, Crusade Director, and Director of Television Production for Oral Roberts Ministries at the age of 26. He has also worked as an author and as a television writer, producer, and director, and his work has garnered him several Angel Awards (entertainment) and Addy Awards (advertising).
Cheryl also faced tremendous struggles at an early age, having been abused as a child and then finding herself nearly crippled after a devastating auto accident at a young age. With an unwavering trust in God, Cheryl overcame emotional trauma and physical setbacks to achieve her dreams in life, one of which saw its fulfillment when she was crowned Miss America in 1980. Since then, she has written or coauthored several books and has recorded ten albums.
Harry and Cheryl learned about God's power to restore and heal firsthand after their six-year-old daughter Gabrielle went home to be with the Lord in 1999. Now, along with their sons, Harry III and Roman, the Salems continue to go forward with the call upon their lives to share God's love here and abroad.
