Anna earned her BA from Baylor University and attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England. She married Albert Rountree, a graduate of Duke University with a B. S. in mechanical engineering. He later graduated from the Episcopal seminary at Yale University and served for 20 years as a pastor in that denomination. Later he accepted a call to pastor a non-denominational fellowship and then served as an interim pastor of a rural Presbyterian congregation. During their years in the pastoral ministry, she organized, directed, and wrote the curriculum for a large accredited preschool and day care center. The Lord called Anna and Albert to Kansas City They also organized daily prayer meetings and citywide repentance services toward the African, Americans, Hispanics, Asians, Europeans, those from the Middle East, and between the denominations. They also organized that city's first Pastor's Prayer Summit and its first March for Jesus. Anne and Albert Rountree now devote their full time to writing in a cabin in the mountains.
